Hi, I'm Derek - welcome to my homepage. As a part of this CS50 assignment I'm required to make a simple webpage covering some of my hobbies and interests. Two important interests and hobbys of mine recently have been travel and photography. Where have I been?
As of February 2019 I've visited 23 different countries (including my home country, the United States). In total I've spent about 2 years abroad. A large chunk of this time was spent as a tourist, though I lived and worked in Australia for about 8 months and now have been in Germany for about four months. At the moment I'm taking a 20 hour/week German language course and trying to teach myself about computer science and programming.
